Jodie Baker is the founder of Purple Penguin Entertainment. With a background in performing arts, Jodie attended the prestigious Rose Bruford Drama school and appeared in many local plays and musicals and even starred in a short film aired on BBC2 Wales! For the past eight years Jodie has combined her love for amateur dramatics with a career in her other passion – children’s entertainment. Working as a character performer, balloon modeller and disco host, Jodie is known for her high energy fun-loving attitude! After having children, Jodie attended many wonderful baby classes and went on to run successful classes of her own for a well-known franchise.

Feeling frustrated at the lack of creative freedom afforded whilst working for a franchise, Jodie decided to create a new style of baby class that would combine the high energy feel of a kids party with a creative space for parents to learn to communicate with their babies, whilst meeting other like-minded parents.

We truly believe that having fun is the best way to learn and Jodie has combined her experience as a Children’s entertainer and Performing artist to create original, catchy and upbeat songs that we think your babies will love (and there’ll be plenty of signing opportunities)!

Jodie would like to take this opportunity to once again argue with her dad that Drama School was actually not a waste of time.
